Christa Chambers-Price

christa-chambers-priceChrista Chambers-Price is the founder of Business Story Generator. For over 15 years, she has crafted visual stories for clients such as JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Marriott, Merrill Lynch, SIEMENS Demantic, The University of Michigan and many others as a designer and programmer.

Christa considers herself very fortunate to have been invited to participate and play on some big bandwagons with some impressive people who have brought her in on interesting projects. Nothing gets Christa more excited than to reinvigorate teams that have "hit a wall," are losing momentum or are just going through the motions and need to shake things up a bit. Her tools and processes allow teams to quickly reconnect with their central vision, clarify (or redefine) the "promise," and execute clear, compelling messaging across all marketing and sales channels.

March 2015 - Dan Tyre, Hubspot

Officiating Referee: Dan Tyre, HubSpot Sales Director

HUG_Dan_TyreDan Tyre joined HubSpot as a member of the original team in May of 2007, and has led the recruiting, training, and growth of HubSpot's sales team with vigor. An authority on inbound marketing and sales, Dan is a regular speaker, writer, and coach to those who yearn for inbound success. His favorite topic is the importance of attitude, and he's been known to bring the house down when speaking on this topic to groups.

At HubSpot, Dan has pioneered the concept of alignment between sales and marketing known as "Smarketing," a core tenet of inbound marketing now followed by thousands of companies around the world. He's been instrumental in the creation and growth of several sales teams that are now thriving hives of activity at HubSpot, including the International, VAR, Emerging Business, and Spider Monkey teams (youll have to ask him what that last one is all about sometime).

Dan continues to inspire and teach HubSpotters as a sales trainer, as creator of the HubSpot Leadership program, as a blogger on the HubSpot blog, and as the dispenser of high fives and fist bumps whenever the opportunity arises.

The opportunity for high fives and fist bumps arises often, with Dan Tyre. This you should know.

He was also President of Helm Software in Phoenix, Arizona, for two years, which, while not technically a startup, was still a very nice company indeed.

A2HUG_Marisa_SmithCoach: Marisa Smith, The Whole Brain Group

From her early days of playing office in her parents’ basement, Marisa has been gifted with a talent for automating processes to improve efficiency. Coach: Tom Schwab, Inbound for eCommerce

Tom_Schwab_-_Goodbye_Crutches-croppedIt’s never been easier to sell online, but it’s never been more difficult to actually make a profit doing so.   Making sense of the newest trick, tool or platform can leave you chasing transactions instead of focused on building a profitable business.

Tom Schwab learned this first-hand as he grew his direct-to-patient durable medical equipment company from a regional player in Kalamazoo, MI, to a national leader. After trying all the tricks and going through his self-described Pay-Per-Click addiction, Goodbye Crutches was an eCommerce leader that transformed their online business with an inbound strategy.

In 2014, Tom founded Inbound for eCommerce. The company is a HubSpot-certified partner that works with ecommerce companies who want to move beyond selling based on a picture and a price to building an ecommerce that attracts, engages and delights both customers and merchants.

Tom is the leader of the eCommerce HubSpot User Group (HUG). It's the only online virtual HUG group with members in 5 Continents. A writer, speaker and frequent podcast guest, he has been featured on eCommerce Influence, Conversion Cast and Entrepreneur on Fire. He also gives business advice weekly as the host of Inbound Movement.

Tom earned a Bachelors or Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA in Marketing from Western Michigan University.
